S Series roll cutters
GoSign
Vinyl and printed graphics cut direct from Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW, with camera recognition, action sets, material profiles and a job log.
Call the service team, or send us the fault details online.
Summa software
Summa write their own software in house. The GoSuite family uses the same workflow across the whole equipment range, so a team that can run a flatbed can run a laser or a roll cutter without being retrained. It ships with the machine rather than being an extra you find out about later.
S Series roll cutters
Vinyl and printed graphics cut direct from Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW, with camera recognition, action sets, material profiles and a job log.
F Series and V Series flatbeds
Flatbed workflow: tooling and module recognition, material profiles, action sets, barcode automation and production setup.
L Series laser systems
Laser workflow: camera profiles, trace and cut from the vision system, material management, cut to frame for SEG and waste cut.
Automation and integration
Links the cutter to ERP, third party automation, feeders, stackers and the rest of the production system.
Production management
Records production in real time: job data, shift and material trends, and an open API for your own dashboards.
Packaging design
Parametric design for sample making and packaging, sold alongside the V Series.
Which software, which machine
The edition follows the machine, and each one works the same way: material profiles, action sets and a job log. The Pro Packs are a one-off purchase and add the automation features.
Software names, editions and features are Summa’s own. GoSign and GoProduce Laser Edition are available from Summa with a thirty day trial. What is included with a given machine is confirmed in the quotation.
What changes on the floor
None of these rely on an operator remembering a setting. They are why two people on different shifts get the same result from the same file.
A profile per material holding speed, pressure, tool and depth. Choose the material and the settings load. On the flatbeds the profile exports as an XML file and moves to every other machine you run.
A job sequence reduced to one click, configured to the way you work. New operators run the same sequence as experienced ones.
The machine reads the barcode on the sheet or roll and loads the right file, settings and material itself. A roll of mixed jobs runs without anyone standing over it. On the F Series Vantage an ethernet connected camera does the reading.
Every job sent to the machine is recorded, which gives you post-costing, uptime, traceability and something an ERP or MIS system can read.
Advanced software
Two products rather than two features. Both are worth deciding on before the machine arrives, because they change what the rest of the factory can see and do.
Records what the machine is producing and makes the pattern visible rather than anecdotal.
Connects the cutter to everything around it, so the flatbed is not an island at the end of the print process.
Design software
Parametric design software for sample making and packaging: change a dimension and the whole construction redraws. Particularly relevant to V Series users, where most of this work sits.
Send the artwork and the material and we will run it on the demonstration machine in West Yorkshire. Dennison then handle machine setup, the first material profiles, operator training, workflow setup and software configuration.
