Service and support

Engineering support that keeps production moving.

From breakdown repairs and planned maintenance to installations and relocations, Dennison supports digital cutting, industrial print and CTP equipment across the UK and mainland Europe, with travelling engineers deployed worldwide for installations, relocations, training and manufacturer projects. Our engineers work with equipment owners directly and on behalf of leading manufacturers.

When something has stopped

Breakdown and repair

One-off and contracted breakdown support across digital cutting, industrial print and pre-press equipment. Our service team will review the equipment, the fault, the location and the urgency before confirming the appropriate next step.

Service agreements and planned maintenance

Service agreements built around the equipment you operate and the level of support your production requires. Options range from planned maintenance to more comprehensive breakdown, labour and eligible parts cover.

01

Planned maintenance

Based on the equipment, its condition and production demands. Visits can include inspection, cleaning, calibration, consumable replacement and recommendations on developing wear or reliability issues. Intended to reduce avoidable failures and give you better visibility of equipment condition.

02

Breakdown cover

Breakdown support can be agreed for qualifying equipment where a full service agreement is not required. The scope can include eligible parts and labour within the stated terms, subject to the equipment, inspection requirements, exclusions and agreed liability limits.

03

Remote diagnosis and technical escalation

Practical technical support from engineers familiar with the equipment. Remote support can help identify a fault, confirm the parts required and determine whether an onsite visit is needed.

Cover is matched to the equipment and to how hard you run it, so the useful first step is a conversation about the machines rather than a price list.

Installation and project engineering

Installation, commissioning and relocation for individual machines, complete production lines and factory moves. The scope can include pre-installation surveys, unloading and positioning, mechanical and electrical installation, commissioning, operator handover and training, production line moves, complete factory relocations, refurbishments and upgrades, and overseas installation projects.

Experience across digital cutting, print and pre-press

Two connected areas of engineering. The print and pre-press side is where the business started. Digital cutting is what takes the same engineering into composites, technical textiles and wider manufacturing.

How service support works

What happens when you contact us

Not every enquiry needs an engineer on site, and the quickest answer is often not a van. This is the sequence either way.

01

Tell us about the equipment

The make, model, serial number, site location and a description of the fault or requirement.

02

The service team reviews it

We check the equipment history, contract status, the technical requirement and the engineering resource available.

03

We agree the next step

That may be remote diagnosis, preparing parts, arranging planned work, or confirming engineer attendance.

04

The work is recorded

Engineer findings, parts used and recommendations are added to the equipment’s service history.
