What this notice covers
This notice covers personal information collected through dennisongroup.co.uk. It does not cover information held about you under a separate service agreement, supply contract or employment relationship, which is dealt with in those arrangements.
Information we collect through this site
Enquiry and fault report forms
When you use the contact form or the fault report form we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, company, email address, telephone number, site address, the equipment concerned and your description of the problem. We collect it because you have asked us to respond to an enquiry or attend a fault.
Job applications
Where a vacancy invites applications through this site we collect the information in the application, and a CV if you attach one. CVs are stored outside the public area of the website and are accessible only to authorised staff.
Online orders
If you buy parts through the shop we collect the information needed to take payment and deliver the order. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Dennison.
Technical information
Our web server records standard technical information such as the pages requested and the approximate time of the request. Cookies and similar technologies are described in the cookie policy.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry or attend a fault. Where you are an existing customer this is normally necessary for the performance of our contract with you. Otherwise it is our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has contacted us.
- To supply and invoice goods and services. Performance of a contract, and compliance with our legal obligations on accounting records.
- To consider a job application. Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract of employment.
- To keep the site secure and working. Our legitimate interest in operating the site safely.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is needed to do what you have asked, or where we are required to. That may include our website host, our email provider, our payment provider and our professional advisers.
We do not sell personal information.
