Summa S Series roll cutters

Roll-fed cutting and accurate contour finishing for vinyl, printed graphics, labels and film.

The S1 and S3 Series, from dependable drag cutting to tangential cutting with camera recognition.

A Summa S Series roll-fed cutter

What it is for

Roll stock, cut to the contour.

Most print and cut work arrives on a roll. The S Series cuts it accurately around every contour, and sits naturally alongside a wide-format printer.

Drag or tangential

Drag knife cutters for everyday vinyl and laminated media; tangential cutters for thicker materials and tighter corners.

Contour accuracy

Registration to the printed image, so the cut follows the print across the length of the job.

Camera recognition

On the S3 TC, optical recognition finds the media and sequences jobs automatically.

GoSign software

Cuts direct from Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW, with material profiles, action sets and a job log.

Summa's own film. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. Watch it on YouTube instead if you prefer.

Models

Two series, four versions.

The S1 Series cuts with a drag knife. The S3 Series comes in drag (D), tangential (T) and tangential with camera (TC) versions. The number is the width class.

S1 D

S1 D60, D120, D140, D160

Drag knife cutting for fast, reliable work on everyday vinyl and laminated media.

S3 D

S3 75, 120, 140, 160

Drag knife cutting with higher cutting force and more refined motion control.

S3 T

S3 75, 120, 140, 160

Tangential cutting for thicker materials, tighter corners and demanding applications.

S3 TC

S3 TC 75, 160
