Careers

Build your engineering career with Dennison.

We are an engineering business. Most of the people here are engineers, most of the work is on customers’ sites, and the equipment is genuinely varied: digital cutting, industrial print, plate making and everything that sits around them.

We take people on as the work grows rather than in intakes, so roles appear through the year.

No current vacancies

We take engineers on as the work grows rather than in intakes, so roles appear through the year. If you are a field service engineer on digital cutting, industrial print or pre-press equipment, we are worth talking to whether or not anything is advertised.

What the work is like

Field service, honestly described

Worth knowing before you apply, because field service suits some people and not others.

01

You are on the road

Our engineers work from home across the UK and mainland Europe and travel to customer sites. International travel is a normal part of installation, service and manufacturer project work. It is not an office job with a van attached.

02

You work on your own judgement

You arrive, you diagnose, you decide. There is technical support behind you and a parts operation, but nobody is standing over you telling you what the fault is.

03

You get trained on real equipment

Manufacturer training is a normal part of the job, not a perk. Our engineers are trained by the people who build the machines, and that continues throughout your time here.

04

The equipment changes, the approach does not

People who join from one machine type usually end up covering several. If you like learning new kit, that is the best part of the job. If you want to do the same thing for twenty years, it probably is not.

Nothing listed that suits you

Send your CV anyway

If you are a field service engineer working on production equipment and there is nothing advertised, get in touch. We would rather know who is out there than advertise from cold when a role opens.
